ASUU strike Latest update - Finally....

The Academic Staffs Union Of Universities Nigeria met with the federal government delegates yesterday being the 21st of January 2019 as earlier proposed, to see to the suspension of the strike action that commenced on the 4th of November 2018 leaving thousands of dozens of students at home and in the market places. 

However, Mr Awesome's Blog Media Team monitoring and following up on the ASUU meeting gathered that the meeting was Deadlocked as federal government reportedly did not come to table with What ASUU had demanded. The ASUU National President, Prof biodun in his statement said that there are grey areas yet to be resolved  and that the strike has not been suspended until they go back to meet their members and that meetings will continue on a later date.


ASUU twitter handle has posted on its news feed that the strike action would be suspended if and when the federal government of Nigeria Complies with the release of 50 billion naira to reactivate revitalization fund.
Therefore the Strike Continues till further notice.
